I have been a part of Austin Bangladeshi community for the last 17 years. As our community grew, so did our needs and problems. I strongly believe the new Bangladesh Association can provide significant support to the Bangladeshis in the greater Austin area. If elected, as an Ad-Hoc committee member, I promise uphold the democratic process as we build this association up. I'll also welcome ideas and feedbacks from all Bangladeshi Austinites in developing a representative constitution. Along with organizing the cultural programs, I'll will also work on building a Bangladeshi business and career network. I'll also work with the team to setup a process to help families in circumstances such as serious illnesses, death, funerals, etc.
