Dear Bangladeshi community members:
My name is Nasim Uddin. I have been working for AMD for last 12 years (Engineering). I have been involved with AMD's volunteering effort for the community all along (such as volunteering for Ride for the roses, Books distribution program to Elementary Schools, Live fund-raising program for KLRU, KLRU distinguish speaker series and many more). As a Bangladeshi community member I am actively involved organizing community events (sports, cultural, social, entertainment). I have actively participated organizing cultural, sports and social events for BUET students during my study in BUET.

Most important things that I care about our community are peace and harmony, good communication, unity and respect for each other.

If elected, one of my roles will be to help develop an organizational structure with proper checks and balance. In addition to help organize community events (social, cultural, sports, entertainment) I would like to play a key role to make the Association a central place to serve community needs such as work/job help, Parenting help, new student help, new Bangladeshis help, promote Bangladesh in various government and non government events etc.

Finally, I will try my best to uphold the trust community put on me.

Past affiliation: Board of Director, Austin Bangla School, 2004-2005 (played active role in fund-raising effort). President, Bangladesh Student Association, Oklahoma State University, 1993 (during MS study). GS (elected), Shere Bangla Hall Students Union (BUET), 1988-89. House Leader, Mirzapur Cadet College, 1982-84. Class Captain, 1979-84.
