I have been living in Austin for the past sixteen years. I am a design engineer at Intel Corp. I did my Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from UT-Austin in 1996. I received my Bachelor’s degree in EE from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) where I also served as a lecturer. I want to contribute to the organizational and cultural activities of the Bangladesh Association. I will work towards upholding the accountability and transparency of the elected governing body of the association. I support format “B”, the board of directors system. I am the USA representative for the satellite television channel NTV. I have been making news features for NTV on a regular basis. Austin Bangladeshi community has many talents and success stories. I plan to highlight them internationally through NTV.
