BAGA Honoring our Senior Citizens
Dear
Bangladeshi Community Members:
As we all begin the new
year with lots of hope and aspiration, BAGA BOD would like to honor our
respected elders of the community. We would like to express our gratitude,
sincere thanks and appreciation to all of the senior individuals (Age 60+
years) of our community. As we grow older with our family and children, we
realize how much our parents have sacrificed for our well being. Many of us
left behind our loving parents in
Dear members, let
us get together at A-Plus Buffet Restaurant on
February 1st, at 7:00PM for this purpose. BOD will contact and invite the
seniors (60+) in the next few days. There is always a chance that we might miss
and fail to contact a few. So kindly help us in this effort: if you are 60+, or
you know someone who is, please contact any BAGA Directors, if not contacted by
this Friday, January 25th.
We are thankful to A -Plus Buffet for sponsoring this event. They have
graciously agreed to serve Bangladeshi food for this event (Hilsa
fish, varieties of bhorta etc) in addition to their
regular buffet menu. Invited senior citizens will eat FREE of charge, courtesy
of A-Plus Buffet. Others will pay a discounted price (Adult: $5.99, Kids(4-12): $3.99, Soda: $0.99).
